Until recently the commercial vagal stim devices have been weak sauce but they are getting better. Vagal stim is not just for “relaxing” as direct vagal stim is often used to raise arousal level in clinical settings.

The future of commercial wearables is writing to the nervous system not just reading/measurement. Most now read neural states (sleep, stress, etc) by heart rate, HRV. To write/modify neural circuits the leverage point must be directly neural. 1st will be eyes or vagus or vestib.
